Thalassery peaceful

Kannur: Thalassery and nearby areas were limping back to normality as no incidents of violence have been reported since Saturday morning when two persons were attacked by suspected BJP-RSS workers at Thalassery.

Violence claimed seven lives and injured several persons.

The police said that raids were being carried out for weapons and the culprits involved in the incidents.

Four days of violence had brought life to a standstill. The situation was improving, the police said.
