Vaishnav in final

HYDERABAD: B. Vaishnav defeated Y. Sai Ram 8-7 (7-3) in the boys under-10 singles semifinal of the Sun-Jay Tennis Academy mini and sub-junior tennis tournament at Administrative Staff College of India here.

Srikanth hits century

Srikanth’s unbeaten 128 helped HDFC Standard Life record a 49-run win over Citibank in the quarter-final of the Champions Cup Polycom Crickfest tournament for corporate groups here.

The scores:

HDFC Standard Life 215 (Srikanth 128 not out, Ratnakar 63 not out) bt Citibank 166 for nine; GE IIC 130 lost to Deloitte 131 for two.

Carrom tournament

Kaliki Yanadi Reddy memorial AP Open carrom tournament will be held at Officers Club (Kavali) from March 20 to 22 with the winner getting Rs. 10,000, the runner-up Rs.5000 and third-placed Rs.2500.
