TIRUNELVELI: Coming down heavily on the State Government for failing to ensure industrial investment in southern districts, the Puthiya Thamizhagam has said it will organise discussions with people to finalise strategies for attracting investments to the backward region, and plans for agitation to press the demand. Speaking to reporters here on Monday, party president K. Krishnasamy said the Government, which promised in its previous budget to allocate a huge sum for creating infrastructure for the proposed Nanguneri multi-product special economic zone, had not carried out any development work. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
