The Hindu triumphs again

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindu completed a hat-trick in the CMR-VJF inter-media cricket tournament, beating Deccan Chronicle by seven wickets in the final of the third edition of the tournament at the Port stadium here on Monday.

Set to score 134, The Hindu started well with opener Sumit Bhattacharjee cracking a half-century, and eventually won with five balls to spare.

The scores: Deccan Chronicle 133 for seven in 20 overs (Seshu 43) lost to The Hindu 134 for three in 19.1 overs (Sumit Bhattacharjee 55).
