Student commits suicide

NAMAKKAL: Gunavathi of Chinnaveerampatti near Udumalpet, an engineering student, allegedly committed suicide in her hostel room here on Tuesday. Her roommate informed the police. A case was registered and police are investigating.

Killed in accident

Balu of Thalavaipatti village in Attur was killed on the spot when a lorry dashed against a motorcycle in Talavasal on Tuesday. Police said he was returning home after visiting his relatives.
