Panchayat works inspected in Lalgudi

TIRUCHI: Commissioner, Town Panchayats, K. Gopal inspected the developmental works being executed in Musiri and Lalgudi town panchayat areas in the district on Wednesday.

He inspected a compost yard in Musiri and instructed officials to create awareness of environmental protection among the people. He also inspected the Musiri bus stand and asked the officials to keep it and surroundings clean.

At Lalgudi town panchayat, Mr. Gopal inspected a community hall being constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh and asked the officials to expedite the work.

Remove encroachments

He advised the officials to remove encroachments and hoardings on road side.

Collector T. Soundaiah and administration officials accompanied the Commissioner, an official press release said.
