Vasumathi wins

Chennai: S. Vasumathi Jeevarathinam beat R. Rajeswari 15-4, 13-4, in the final of the World Women’s Day carrom tournament, conducted by Kasturbha Nilayam, Egmore, in association with the Chennai District Carrom Association.

The event was inaugurated by World carrom champion I. Illavazhagi.
