MLA’s gesture

ADILABAD: Koneru Konappa, Sirpur MLA, set a record of sorts on Friday when he sponsored marriage of 21 poor girls along with the marriage of his daughter Shweta at Kagaznagar. The marriages were organised at the Sir Silk grounds where a large number of people attended it including VIPs. The MLA donated a mangalsutra and some household articles. – Staff Reporter
