Agriculturist found murdered

VISAKHAPATNAM: A youth was murdered and his body burnt along with sugarcane waste at Tagarampudi village near Anakapalle in the district around midnight on Thursday.

According to the police, the victim, I. Venku Naidu, was an agriculturist of Rajam village.

S. Satyanarayana of the same village suspected that Venku Naidu had developed illicit relationship with his wife Satyavathi. On March 11, Satyanarayana along with his son-in-law Suryanarayana and friend Ramakrishna allegedly murdered Naidu and burnt the body.

Youth missing

A youth Gokul Pandy has been missing from Madeena Bagh at Gajuwaka for the past one week. According to the police, Gokul was among the 21 labourers who had come to the city in search of work and put up at Madeena Bagh.
