‘Name airport after Kempe Gowda’

BANGALORE: The Vokkaligara Jagruthi Vedike on Friday urged the State and Union governments to name the new airport at Devanahalli after Kempe Gowda. Jagadguru Kumara Chandrashekaranatha Swami said that Kempe Gowda had a vision to promote Bangalore, and therefore the Devanahalli airport should be named after him. — Staff Reporter
