HYDERABAD: A team of energy officials from Tamil Nadu will visit Andhra Pradesh shortly to study the achievement of AP Transco in meeting a huge daily demand of 195 million units. At a meeting of the Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre in Bangalore on March 11, the grid operation officials of Tamil Nadu said they were impressed that Transco was able to meet the increased demand without much difficulty and wanted to study the supply system here. Almost all the southern States have begun to draw extra power from the Southern Grid following a steep increase in summer demand.
