In the news item published under the heading ‘Recovery of amount from contractor recommended’, it was inadvertently reported that the work of laying a cement concrete road in Industrial Estate at Autonagar was awarded to the contractor by the Jawahar Autonagar Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA). The work was actually awarded by the Vijayawada Auto Cluster Development Company Limited (VACDCL), a special purpose vehicle, and not by the IALA.
