John Paul FC posts win

DINDIGUL: A 39th minute strike by Kennedy helped John Paul Football Club register a solitary goal victory over Peter Memorial Football Club in the Dindigul DFA ‘B’ division league here on Sunday.

In another match, Pele Sports Club beat SMBM Football Club 3-1.

Marutha Pandian scored a brace and Karthikeyan scored one for Pele Club. Arunkumar netted for SMBM Club.

Muthu stars

N. Muthu’s five for 35 and a third-wicket partnership of 105 runs between Mahesh (68) and G. Sivanesan (52 n.o.) helped Mansur Cricket Club carve out a 33-run victory over Play Boys Cricket Club in the Dindigul DCA third division league at Dindigul on Sunday.
