Anand claims open event

BANGALORE: Anand Srinivasan with a score of 32 points (gross) won the open event in the Coromandel Golf Tournament played at the Bangalore Golf Club here on Friday and Saturday. The open event was played in the Stableford format and Prafful Chand (31 points) was the runner-up.

Other results: Handicap section; 0-15: 1. K.N. Shanth Kumar (38 pts), 2. B. Sreenivas Murthy (38 pts). 16-24: 1. Dilip Porwal (44pts), 2. S.G. Kittu (43pts). 25 and above: 1. Jude Lobo (36 pts) gross, 2. Amar Chand Jain (34 pts).
