Dempo confident

New Delhi: Having accounted for Lebanese giant Al Ansar at home in its first match, I-League champion Dempo Sports Club would look to continue its winning momentum when it takes on Sur Club of Oman in its AFC Cup away match on Tuesday.

The 3-1 victory over Al Ansar, the reigning Lebanon Premier League champion, in Margao must have given Mauricio Afonso’s boys confidence.

Dempo will be strengthened by the return of winger Anthony Pereira, midfielder Peter Carvalho, defenders Valeriano Rebello and Dominic Noronha to its ranks. — PTI
