MRPS, DHPS stage protest

Kakinada: Activists of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) and Dalita Hakkula Porata Samiti (DHPS) staged a protest in front of the Collector’s office here on Monday demanding action against those who desecrated the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Indrapalem junction here recently.

Joint Collector G.S.R.K.R. Vijay Kumar’s assurance that action would be taken after the process of inquiry is completed, did not convince them. The protestors refused to leave the place, replying to the Joint Collector that similar promise was made when the incident took place but nothing happened.
