Governor admitted to hospital

CHENNAI: Governor Surjit Singh Barnala was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Tuesday for evaluation of a chest discomfort. A release from Dr. K. Subramaniam, chief cardiologist, Apollo Hospitals, said: “He is progressing well and his condition is stable. Presently, he is in the ICU.” — Special Correspondent
