Australian interest in traditional products

CHENNAI: A workshop on opportunities in Australian market for India’s traditional products is organised by Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce at Chennai on March 25. According to the Chamber release many Australian companies have entered into sourcing arrangements for garments, leather and a variety of environment-friendly products. An Indian product called bio-plate made from areca nut leaves is making a big impact in the food services industry in Australia.
