Sunny Sidhu wins Desert Storm

NEW DELHI: Sunny Sidhu emerged the champion in the sixth Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm rally that culminated in Jaipur on Tuesday.

Driving his Maruti Gypsy, Sidhu clocked 4:41:14 penalties in the pro car category. Suresh Rana (4:52.25) and Capt. Sameer Pande (4:54.35) came second and third.

Mathew Paul Barrett with 6:09:54 penalties was adjudged the winner in the pro bike category. Umesh Raheja was the winner in the NAV 4WD category.
