YMDC in final

MANGALORE: Yenepoya Medical and Dental College (Deralakatte) entered the final of the maiden Twenty20 cricket tournament, for the Ace Surgical Cup, being organised by the Dakshina Kannada District Cricket Association here.

YMDC defeated Sapthagiri College of Hotel Management by 69 runs in an one-sided affair at the Nehru Maidan here on Wednesday. Rahil (48) did well for YMDC.

The scores: YMDC 174 for eight in 20 overs (Rahil 48, Umair Mirza 37, Amjad 24, Saiprasad Shetty three for 29) bt Sapthagiri 105 in 16.5 overs (Saiprasad Shetty 33, Rajesh Yadav 20, Zaid two for 23, Imbraz two for 15).
