Pankaj at NCA for fitness tests

BANGALORE: Fast bowler Pankaj Singh reported to the National Cricket Academy for another round of fitness assessment tests here on Wednesday.

The Rajasthan seamer, who was part of the Indian Test squad on the recent Australian tour, is nursing a side strain and was at the academy earlier this month too.

Pankaj’s progress was monitored by physio Paul Close and strengthening and conditioning coach Paul Chapman. Pankaj will have another round of tests at the academy on Thursday. — Principal Correspondent
