TIRUPUR: Conceding the demands of the hosiery industry, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has rescheduled the power holiday to Sundays instead of Saturdays for the industries in Tirupur and its surroundings. In a release, K.K. Thangavel, executive engineer of TNEB, the power holiday, which was in vogue since March 3 on every Saturday has been rescheduled to Sundays. All the prominent industrial bodies, including Tirupur Exporters Association, South India Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association and Knit Cloth Manufacturers Association thanked the Electricity Minister Arcot N.
