KSP makes merry

BANGALORE: Karnataka State Police pounded Reserve Bank of India 11-1 in the Travancore Cup hockey tournament at the hockey stadium here on Thursday.

Magesh (6th, 9th, 39th and 45th) struck four times while Venkatesh (41st, 43rd and 46th) notched up a treble. Laxman Rao (2nd and 19th) logged a brace and Parmesh (29th) along with Umesh Mutgar (48th) slotted one apiece. Thanu Nanjappa (53rd) ensured that it was not a blank score for RBI.
