NIT-K ‘B’ in final

MANGALORE: National Institute of Technology-Karnataka ‘B’ (Srinivasnagar) scored a four-wicket win over NMAMIT (Nitte) to enter the final of the Twenty20 cricket tournament for the Ace Surgical Cup here on Thursday.

NIT-K will take on Yenepoya Medical and Dental College (Deralakatte) in the final on Saturday.

The scores: NMAMIT 150 for seven in 20 overs (Archan Rao 34, M. Ashwin 20, Ajay Shetty 27, Rohith Thakur three for 30, Akash Roy two for 29) lost to NIT-K ‘B’ 151 for six in 19.5 overs (Akash Roy 55 n.o., Karthik 35, Ram Sharan two for 13, Manjunath two for 31).
