Four Kerala players for Indian camp

KOCHI: Four footballers from Kerala — Abhishek N. Joshy (Ernakulam), P. Shameel (Malappuram), Kiran Kumar (Kannur) and Sane Mohammed (Pathanamthitta) — have been selected for the under-14 Indian coaching camp which begins at Kalyani, West Bengal, on March 23.

Of the four, Koshy had represented the under-13 Indian team at the AFC football festival in Bangladesh last year.

Kerala’s Satheevan Balan will be the assistant coach at the Indian camp. — Principal Correspondent
