Royal, Friends post wins

VIJAYAWADA: Sidhu’s 74 off 49 balls and Swaroop Kumar’s hat-trick (three for 18) helped Royal CC defeat Andhra Blues CC by seven wickets in the Krishna District Cricket Association’s Power League for Kartagadda Madhusudhana Rao Memorial Trophy at IGMC Stadium here on Thursday.

At SMC grounds, Friends CC defeated NECC by three wickets.

ABCC 129 in 30 overs (Ayyappa 53, Ganesh 46) lost to Royal CC 131 for three in 18.5 overs (Sidhu 74).

NECC 151 in 34.1 overs (R.L.V. Prasad 44) lost to Friends CC 152 for seven in 35.2 overs (Kali Prasad four for 28).
