Sharad shines

Mumbai: Sharad Bhudale’s all-round performance (three for 37 and 43) helped MRPL beat GAIL in the mini-league of the BPCL-organised 28th PSPB inter-unit cricket tournament here on Saturday.

In another match, Engineers India Limited (EIL) beat Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited by six wickets.

The scores: CPCL 129 in 30 overs (Virendra Sharma three for 13, Devesh three for 23) lost to EIL 130 for 4 in 28 overs (Pawan Sharma 35, Inderish Kapoor 33 n.o.); GAIL 121 in 28 overs (Satyanarayan three for 13, Sharad Bhudale three for 37) lost to MRPL 124 for 6 in 32.5 overs (Sharad Bhudale 43, Anil Kumar 31). — Special Correspondent
