New airport takes off

SWANKY AMBIENCE: The country’s first private greenfield airport at Shamshabad in Hyderabad became operational on Sunday morning. Passengers of a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt, Germany, were accorded the first honours though two domestic Spicejet flights landed little ahead at the new Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
