HYDERABAD: Even as the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination begins on Monday more than 10,000 students will not be able to take the examination as either they have been duped by private schools that failed to forward their applications or some heads of schools did not submit the ICR applications to the DEO concerned. Many unrecognised schools admit students in 10th class with the hope that they can “manage” the officials and legalise the admissions. Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ordered holding of supplementary schedule around May 15 for 10,000 students who would not be able to take the exam now. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
