BANGALORE: Amitabh Poddar with a score of 36 points (gross) bagged the open event title in the Bangalore Golf Club-Titan tournament played on Friday and Saturday at the BGC. The open event was played in the Stableford format and David D’Souza was runner-up with 35 points. C.G. Somaiah was third with 34 points. Other results: Handicap (0-13): 1. Madhavi Reddy (40 pts), 2. K.V. Dasrathi (38 pts) and 3. Zubeer Ahmed. Handicap (14-24): 1. Karthick Chandra (40 pts), 2. V. Umesh (38 pts), 3 Rathan Kumar (38pts). Handicap 25 and above: 1. Aditi Ashok (40 pts), 2.
