Prakash in final qualifying round

NEW DELHI: Davis Cupper Prakash Amritraj, ranked 269, made the final qualifying round, beating Juan Pablo Amado of Argentina 6-3, 6-2 in the second qualifying round of the $50,000 Challenger tennis tournament at Leon, Mexico. He will meet the sixth seed Nathan Healey of Australia.

The second-seeded Prakash had earlier got past Michael McClune of the U.S. 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 in the first round.
