BJP plans black flag demonstrations

COIMBATORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party has planned black flag demonstrations against West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan here on March 29.

They are scheduled to attend the 19th national congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) from March 29 to April 3.

A release from the BJP’s district urban unit president A. Balakrishnan and national council member S.R. Seghar said on Monday that this was to protest against the incidents at Nandigram and Kannur. — Special Correspondent
