Kolkata, Mumbai score wins

MANGALORE: Kolkata and Mumbai posted emphatic wins on the opening day of the 31st all-India Major Ports table tennis tournament, which got underway at Panambur, near here, on Thursday.

While Kolkata blanked Kandla 3-0 in a Group ‘A’ contest, Mumbai thrashed Visakhapatnam by an identical margin in Group ‘B’.
