MEC in final

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Marian Engineering College (Thiruvananthapuram) will meet Mar Baselius College of Engineering in the final of Marian Trophy inter-collegiate basketball tournament.

In the semifinals on Thursday, Marian Engineering College defeated TKM College of Engineering 41-24 while Mar Baselius College of Engineering beat College of Engineering 28-18.

The results (semifinals): Marian Engineering College 41 (Bichu Thankachan 15, Jazir 11) bt TKM College of Engineering 24 (Jeril 13); Mar Baselius College of Engineering 28 (Ramesh Chandran 15) bt College of Engineering 18 (Allan 10).
