Verghese-Sunil pair wins

CHENNAI: Verghese and Sunil pair emerged the winner in the North-South direction and L.S. Subramani and T.T. Chari in the East-West section of the Madras Gymkhana Club’s monthly open bridge tournament held here on Wednesday.

Other placings: North-South: 2. V.K. Bansal and K.S. Ramesh; 3. Kumar and V. Ramkumar; 4. Narayan Iyer and T.T. Raghunathan. East-West: 2. R. Srikrishna and S.K. Chari; 3. T.M. Suri and S. Rajaram; 4. Venkey Naik and Maj Soundarraj.
