Hammonds meets Vikram in final

BANGALORE: Hammonds CC will meet Vikram CC in the final of the KSCA fifth division (group I) tournament for the J.B. Mallaradhya Trophy.

In the semifinals on Friday, Hammonds defeated Young Lions Club by 18 runs, thanks to a deadly spell by Badri (seven for 29), while Vikram beat Deccan United by 43 runs.

The scores (semifinals):

Hammonds 244 in 55 overs (Chandan 89, D. Santhosh Kumar five for 106) and 180 for seven in 30 overs bt Young Lions Club 288 in 54.2 overs (Gopinath Sandra 106, D. Santhosh Kumar 57) and 118 in 28.2 overs ( N. Santhosh 41, Badri seven for 29) .

Vikram 136 in 37.1 overs (Sijeendranath 48, B. Tanu seven for 34) and 170 for five in 30 overs (N .Prasad 61) bt Deccan United 141 in 54.4 overs (Sharath 70, Pradeep four for 54) and 122 in 27 overs ( B. Tanu B 59).

Wrestling trials
