Awareness programme on innovations

COIMBATORE: TANSTIA – FNF Service Centre, a collaborative venture between Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association, Chennai, and Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Germany, will organise an awareness programme on “Fostering Innovations” for the small and tiny units on April 4 at Hotel Thai, State Bank Road, here.

According to a release from the centre, innovative ideas from small entrepreneurs would be considered if they were socially viable. The ideas, however, should have the potential to meet at least one basic human need such as water, health, sanitation, food, shelter, energy, or dairy. The proposed innovation should be either environment friendly, or be useful to the poor.
