“Make use of Right to Information Act”

KARAIKUDI: The Commissioner for Information, G. Ramakrishnan, has asked the people to make use of the Right to Information Act.

Delivering the keynote address at a function organised by the Department of Corporate Secretaryship of Alagappa University, here recently, he said that the Act was a path-breaking legislation that provided the power to demand information. It had paved the way for transparency and accountability in public administration to an extent. It could be utilised for constructive purposes.
