BPCL, HPCL in semifinals

Mumbai: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited won their super league matches to enter the semifinals of the BPCL sponsored 28th Petroleum Sports Promotion Board inter-unit cricket here on Saturday.

BPCL defeated EIL by 10 wickets, while HPCL beat Oil India Limited by three wickets.

The scores: EIL 54 in 20.1 overs (Swapnil Hazare four for 17) lost to BPCL 55 for no loss in 4.2 overs; OIL 142 in 33 overs (Nishant Bordoloi 45 n.o.) lost to HPCL 143 for seven (Hemant Tipnis 74). — Special Correspondent
