“Industrial corridor to change face of coastal areas”

BAPATLA (GUNTUR DT): A massive industrial corridor being set up on the coastal belt between Nizampatnam and Vadrevu ports would transform the coastal areas in the district, Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy said on Sunday. He also promised the people of Krishna delta of releasing water for their irrigation needs from Pulichintala Project, which would be completed within a year.

Dr. Reddy said that a corridor being set up on the 26-km stretch at an estimated cost of Rs.15,000 crore over the next five years would provide jobs to over 5,000 persons. The Chief Minister visited a photo exhibition.
