Tendulkar out of second Test

Chennai: Sachin Tendulkar was ruled out of the second Test in Ahmedabad with a groin injury.

“Sachin picked up a slight groin strain that got a bit aggravated. He also had an upset tummy,” said captain Anil Kumble.

Tendulkar first suffered from the injury in Australia. He did not take the field on the fifth day of the Chennai Test. Mohammad Kaif will replace Tendulkar in the squad. — Sports Reporter
