Karunakaran supporters seek fair deal in Youth Congress

Thiruvananthapuram: Karunakaran supporters among the youth who rejoined the party recently have demanded a fair deal in the Youth Congress in the State.

A delegation, led by Peethambara Kurup ,met the Youth Congress’ national-level leaders and put forward their claim to a fair share in official posts on the grounds that the new entrants had enrolled one-lakh members and collected a membership fee of Rs. 1.5 lakh.

Mr. Kallar told presspersons that the leadership had given an assurance that the Karunakaran supporters would be given adequate representation.
