Cash bag snatched away

VILLUPURAM: Two motorcycle-borne persons allegedly snatched away a bag containing Rs. 12.23 lakh from a car driver here on Wednesday. According to the police, M. Arul Murugan from Keezhur in Panruti taluk, said in a complaint that when he got down from the car on Ranganathan Road near the Villupuram new bus stand to buy spare parts, he had given the bag to driver Venkatesan. However, some unidentified persons snatched it and fled on a motorcycle.
