Treatment plant works begin at VSP

The Rs.55 crore work to construct mechanical, biological and chemical treatment plant at the fourth coke oven battery in the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) began on Wednesday.

The contract is given to HSCL and the foundation was laid by VSP Executive Director (Projects) A.K. Banerjee. It will be ready by June 2009.
