Chennai: The Chennai Collectorate is conducting essay, poetry and drawing competitions to commemorate B.R. Ambedkar’s birthday. The title for essay contest is ‘Ambedkar’s view on social justice, freedom, equality and brotherhood’; for the poetry contest ‘Humanitarianism and Ambedkar’ (only four lines). Entries should be sent, on or before April 9, to The Adidravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer, District Collectorate, 68, Rajaji Salai, Chennai–1 or faxed to 25265533.
