Pressure cookers, LPG stoves and cylinders donated to anganwadis

KARUR: Collector T.N. Venkatesh handed over pressure cookers, LPG stoves and cylinders to five anganwadis in Karur district at a programme here recently. Chennai-based Tamil Nadu Trust had donated pressure cooker and LPG stove to those centres at Thanthoni (two numbers), Paganatham, Kodangipatti and Vedikkaranpatti at a total cost of Rs.11,000. For the five centres, LPG cylinders were given away at a cost of Rs.7,320.

Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, M. Madhavi, District Social Welfare Officer Rajeswari and Nutrition Officer C. Karpagam were present.
