7,000 litres of rectified spirit seized

Krishnagiri: The Kurupurapalli police seized 7,000 litres of rectified spirit in 200 plastic cans worth Rs.8.40 lakh from an abandoned lorry on the NH-7 near here on Sunday. According to police, a patrol team found the lorry abandoned at Kurupurapalli junction with the rectified spirit. A case has been registered. — Staff Reporter
