Staff Reporter

SANGAREDDY: The Medak District Congress Committee asked its cadre to take ownership and spread awareness on the rice scheme to be implemented from April 9. Minister for Major Industries and Sugar called upon the people’s representatives and cadres to be present at the fair price shop on the day of launch and explain to people about the schemes introduced by the Government for their welfare. She felt that lack of enthusiasm on the part of cadre was one of reasons for lack of awareness among the public that all the programmes including land distribution, pensions and Indiramma housing are all result of efforts by Congress party.

Minister for School Education Damodar Rajnarsimha said that Telangana Rastra Samiti was forced to cancel the programme of K. Chandrasekhar Rao only because the Congress stood firmly behind Minister for Cooperation Mohammad Fariduddin when he was attacked in Siddipet. He urged the cadre particularly in the Ramayampet, Dommata and Siddipet segments to unite and fight TRS and TDP in the ensuing by elections.
