Rajasthani handicrafts on show

Bangalore: Rajasthan’s tradition of craft is legendary. Every city and town of the State has its trademark heritage of handicrafts. Whether it is in expertise in paintings or jewellery, marble work or textiles, Rajasthan offers it all.

The Rajasthan Hasta Kala Samiti has brought to Bangalore an exhibition of all this and more.

The exhibition, organised at Premchandra Kalyana Mantap in Jayanagar second block, will be on until April 14.

You will have a choice of handcrafted furniture, miniature paintings, “kundan” and “meenakari” jewellery, block-print and tie-and-dye textiles and feather-light quilts. There will also be a range of household accessories including terracotta products, metal craft, lacquer products, stone carvings, durries, carpets and rugs.
