FIDE-rating tournament

THRISSUR: The second all-India FIDE-rating open chess tournament, jointly organised Y’s Men Club of Thrissur and Chess Association-Thrissur, will be held at the Lakshmi Mandapam, Thekke Madam Road here, from April 24 to 30.

Over 250 players, including K. Ratnakaran, P. Konguvel, R.R. Laxman, Varughese Koshy and Nimmy A. George, are expected to be seen in action.
